Personal branding portfolio
Photos where you look like someone who knows their craft - because that's exactly who you are. Portraits on a plain background, shots at work and more relaxed frames for social media.
You know the moment: a conference, a new website, an offer to send out. And it turns out that the only photo of you is a frame from a wedding five years ago, cropped so the rest of the table doesn’t show. You upload it because you have to, and the whole time you feel it says nothing about how much you already know.
A personal branding session is exactly about no longer hiding behind a photo like that. Behind what you do, there’s you, and it’s worth letting that show. A client, a viewer, a recruiter or a newsletter reader decides in a few seconds whether to trust you, and in that moment they’re looking at you, not at your CV.
We start with a conversation about what you do and who you want to show yourself to, because everything else depends on it: a calm portrait on a plain background, frames at work with a microphone, a laptop or in your office, or more relaxed photos for social media.
You don’t need to know how to pose and you don’t need to be “photogenic.” That’s my job: I show you how to stand, what to do with your hands, and I tell you when it’s right. After a dozen or so minutes most people stop thinking about the camera and start talking about their work. Those frames are usually the best.
Showing yourself without polishing anything up also takes courage. And it’s usually that courage that makes a photo stay in your memory.
Below are frames from personal branding sessions: women and men, in the studio and in their own workplaces.
